AL Results 2023

We couldn’t be happier with the outcomes of our recent set of A Level examination results!

Exams
On Thursday 17th September our students received their A level results.

When considering our Sixth Form results, firstly we have to say a goodbye to our final founding student, who remained with us for an additional year and secured his place at Corpus Christi College at the University of Cambridge to study History  and  Politics.  Having  a  student  who leaves Turing House with 4 A* grades is amazing. However, he wasn’t the only one! Massive congratulations to Kai who also leaves us with 4 A* grades. Jacob, Lilu, Jay, Tom D, Ayni and Charlie all gained a clean sweep of A* and/or A grades too. We were also very impressed by Adam, Hugo, Isaac, Marwan, Tom P, Sam, Spike, Jake, Ryan and Zoe who all averaged a B grade and had A grades in their profiles.

Overall, 20.9% of students gained grades A*-A grades, 46% gained A*-B and 71% gained grades A*-C. Maths and History were the highest performing subjects, with History’s lowest grade being a B!

Particularly impressive were the grades of the students on our Special Educational Needs register who gained the following spread of grades: ACC, BCD, ABC, BBB, BBC.

Overall, we are very pleased with these results. Students are leaving us with solid outcomes and as confident learners. It is also impressive considering how young our Sixth Form is.

A couple of students are heading abroad, a couple are taking gap years, and a couple are starting their own businesses! We wish all this cohort the very best with their future endeavours. They will be sorely missed.

To finish with a quote from Sean: “At one point, I discussed about leaving Turing house and if there were any alternatives. And oh my, am I happy that I stayed, because now I can finally go and do what I’ve always wanted to do. And you guys made that happen. I know you have opened doors to hundreds of children, but I want to say out loud that I am one of those people and I could not thank you and the rest of Turing house enough!

I’m happy and assured that I will always have my second family to fall back on when I’m in need of help or advice, I will forever be a Turing house student.”
